I have also been nearly hit at this intersection. Cars continually turn right on red in front of me and cut me off when there's a green. Speeding traffic on Western has also blown through the red light. There are plenty of walkers, joggers, and runners at this intersection since it's the best way across Western Boulevard to get to Dorothea Dix and Centennial Campus from downtown. I bike through here twice per day and don't feel one should have to take their life in their hands to cross the street.
