This stretch of sidewalk was very littered last week, with lots of smashed glass and broken bottles and other detritus. I contacted the school principal about it, and it was cleaned up within a couple of days. There is still a little bit of smashed glass on the sidewalk, but overall the situation is so much better. Also, as someone who has walked this stretch of sidewalk almost daily, at various hours of the day and night, I have *never* seen any evidence of students littering, let alone drinking! The litter tends to appear on the weekend. I suspect it's coming from people driving by and tossing trash out their car window.

Housing and Environmental Inspections Division has responded. The property was inspected on 4/2/2014 and the inspector found no violations at that time. Someone had cleaned the sidewalk before this inspection. Thank you.
