Yard erosion due to lagoon drainage Acknowledged139 Crossover Lane Savannah, Georgia - Whitemarsh IslandI have an issue with my yard erosion due to the drainage of the lagoon behind my house. I'm sure you are well aware of this issue since the lagoon is now fixed. However, it was not fixed for at least 3 or 4 years, maybe longer. In the meantime, my yard began to erode and take my chain length fence with it. The fence is still standing/leaning due to some small trees that didn't fall victim to the erosion and some ratchet tie downs. It was brought to my attention, by a neighbor a few houses down, a police officer of the Thunderbolt Police Dept, that the county fixed his issue of the same thing. I would much appreciate some assistance in this matter. I wasn't sure where to begin so I started here. I will be leaving the Savanah are in about a month for a few months while my house is being rebuilt due to a house fire. I would appreciate some feed back prior to my departure please. Believe me, if I had known that I could and would receive assistance from the county on this matter, I would have contacted you sooner. Thank you for your time. 912 695 5561
