We have been dealing with basically a dirt road in front of our house for a very long time. It needs rock. The least but of rain and we can barely get to our driveway. Please bring rock ASAP!

  • N 1st St & Mckelvie Rd Lincoln, Nebraska, 68531 - Lancaster County

Hello, I am writing to you about an erosion issue we have going on in our ditch along our farm...Hamer Properties.

Not sure if you are the right person to contact about this?

Our property is a half section that runs from 1st to 12th on McKelvie road. At about 10th and Mckelvie there is a drainage tube coming from the Spahn farm that grosses under the road and drains into our ditch. Not sure if the county put the tube in or if the Spahns installed it.
The erosion in the last 4 years has grown to a major issue. The erosion is starting to encroach close to the road and appears to be a safety issue in my opinion, let alone the cattle waste and dirt washing away our ditch.

I feel this needs to be looked at very soon.

    Thanks

  • 19355 S 134th St Hickman, Nebraska, 68372 - Lancaster County
South 134th street between Hickman Road and Roca Road has some really slick spots when it rains. My son nearly slid off the road in this last rain. It would be really nice if you could put some rock down in those bad spots.
  • 8480–8698 N First St Lincoln NE 68531, United States - Lancaster County
Road needs maintained Washboard are incredibly rough before and after this intersection north and south.
  • 29301 S Golden Pond Ln Firth, NE, 68358, USA - Lancaster County

Gage road between 96th and 110th and S. Golden Pond roads are all mud. According to the county map they are gravel roads but the small amount of gravel remaining is in the ditch. Please add new gravel.

It would also be nice if the road grader didn't come through while rain is in the forecast. Roads that weren't grader in the area yesterday are in much better shape today, after all the rain.

  • 5600-5772 W Van Dorn St Lincoln, NE, 68522, USA - Lancaster County
This is SW56th and West Van Dorn St. Is it possible to get these tree's trimmed back? My picture is taken from standing next to the stop sign. The view of East bound traffic is very much blocked, you have to get way out to the edge of the road to see traffic coming from the West.
    Thank you, Sean
  • 15565 Nw 40th St Raymond, Nebraska, 68428 - Lancaster County
My driveway off of Nw 40th street doesn’t appear to have a culvert under it- or is buried/ filled with dirt, been this way since bought property in 2008. Water runs into my personal driveway and cuts downhill instead of continuing in ditch downhill of through culvert if it’s under there. It’s on the counties right of way. Was wondering if someone could take a look at it, possibility of replacing. Let me know, thanks

  • 5005 Bluff Rd Lincoln, NE, 68514, USA - Lancaster County

Between 5201 and 5005 Bluff Road on the south side of Bluff Road, there are two large Cottonwood Trees that are dead and have dropped several large branches in the past few months. These are dangerous and could potentially hurt or kill someone if they fall on a passing vehicle.

    These should be removed immediately.
