    William st is left a mess at the end of each day and even over the weekends with sunken trenches and rocks and dirt all over the road. I see the same two dpw workers with the contractor day after day when I asked 1 of them if it would be cleaned up he said when they are done with the whole job they will sweep it, now if they are being paid tax dollars to stand there all day to supervise why don't they make sure it is safe each day or even grab a broom and shovel instead of just standing there doing nothing all day

    I know the town is being proactive on working to straightening out our trash collection issues. Thank you. I assume capacity will be an issue when negotiating a new contract for trash collection.

    My question is, how is the collection of commercial waste differentiated from residential Waste?
    There are many residences in town that use curbside collection to put out trash for their commercial business. In all appearances these are residential Properties.

    Unless you are aware of the issue, the large contractor bags filled with commercial waste are treated as residential collection.

    I am not out just to give these businesses a hard time, but I feel that for-profit business should pay to have their trash collected as such, and not pass that cost along to the residential homeowner.

    Sewer cap on Montvale Avenue, between Cottage and Wright has been sinking on one side forever! It will eventually if it hasn't already take out someones tire. I work at night so I sleep during the day and everytime cars go over it, I literally jump out of my skin! I have made several requests in the last two years to get it filled in at least and still nothing done. Please fix!!!!

    SECTION OF CHESTNUT ST BETWEEN MAPLE AND MONTVALE IS LIKE A WAR ZONE. ALL POT HOLES NEED TO BE FILLED NOT BY PATCHING BUT CUTTING AROUND THTHE POTHOLE AND FILLOMG IN A LARGER AREA PR PAVE THE WHOLE STREET. THIS IS YOUR FIRST WARNING BEFORE I TAKE MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS.

    The water line replacement pavement patch job done on this street is not good. It has sunk in places and elevated in other places. It should be redone properly or the whole street should be repaved.

    Recent road repair not properly finished. Cars bottom out on the dip. One spun out into oncoming traffic in front of me as it is in a corner. Would have been a head on collision if traffic was coming from other direction. Please fix ASAP. Similar issue one block down montvale at the path crossover.

  • Governor Road Stoneham, Massachusetts - Stoneham
    There are numerous areas of failed pavement and potholes on Governor Road. Seems as if all the adjacent streets have been repaved somewhat recently and now Oak Street and some adjacent areas are now being paved. With detours from the water main work, the pavement condition on Governor Road has worsened. Are there any plans to repave Governor Road in the near future? I know it comes at a cost but the road really does need some attention. Thank you for the consideration.
