  • 2345 138th St Lubbock TX 79423, United States - Lubbock County
This intersection is a nightmare to get through. How many accidents have to happen for a stop sign to be put in for the north/southbound lanes?
  • Atlanta Ave Lubbock, TX, 79424, USA - Lubbock
The intersection at Atlanta and 109th rapidly needs a stop sign or at least a yield sign. A wreck will happen sooner than later if not done
  • 13304 Vernon Ave Lubbock, Texas, 79423 - Lubbock County
The intersection of 133rd and Vernon is now an open thru traffic intersection. The intersection has a curve when traveling west to east down 133rd. The cross street Vernon, has a yield sign. However, people are speeding aggressively down the open unhoused portion of 133rd and flying around that corner. people travelling down 133rd do not stop for traffic, children, bikers, or pee doing thier lawn. T the 4 way intersection, even if the Vernon cross traffic stops completely, you have to inch out and pray that no one is flying around that curve, not required to yield or stop.
There has already been accidents in the month or two it's been open, and uncountable near accidents.
It is an extremely dangerous intersection surrounded by 4 homes at risk of being bit hy a car, and dozens of families with children that cannot safely even get near the intersection.
Even workers using 133rd speed to the point of losing tools and equipment off thier trailers when hitting the dip.
It is horrible and just a matter of time before something tragic happens.
Please install stop signs, possibly with warning to slow before the curve, as if your not familiar you won't even know there is an intersection after the curve.

I think this is an issue for the traffic engineers if you could forward it along to them. The issue is that people think that this ally is a shortcut to Walmart & Quaker from 75th St. they continuously drive over the parking blocks (even going as far as getting out and moving the parking blocks in Havertys parking lot ) at the west end of the alley to cut through Havertys parking lot to get to Quaker & Walmart about 15-20 trucks a day and in the evening do this and just drive over the parking blocks. At the east end of the alley there are steel poles with cables preventing people from driving through that area & I was hoping that you could do something about the west end of the alley by Havertys so that people aren’t just shortcutting through the alley all day & night using it as a Roadway! Not to mention all the traffic degrades the alleyway.
  • 1701 134th St Lubbock TX 79423, United States - Lubbock County
Can we get a standing 'Dead End' sign for our cul-de-sac at the intersection of 134th and Ave Q? So many folks who are unfamiliar with the neighborhood speed down 134th St. to hit the dead end trying to get to Avenue P -not only pedestrian vehicles but also city dump trunks, semi-trucks, the endless highway contractors and their large utility vehicles. ,,-There are a lot of Littles who play on overy narrow ur block and it's dangero us .
  • 13802 Vernon Ave Lubbock TX 79423, United States - Lubbock County
Almost ANOTHER wreck in this intersection due to vehicles blocking view. Requesting a stop since nothing has been done about the vehicles.
  • 3202 66th St Lubbock, Texas, 79413 - Lubbock
The intersection of 66th Street and Gary Avenue would benefit from a 4-way stop. A multi-way stop control would be useful as a safety measure at this intersection due to increased traffic conditions. Safety concerns that could be enhanced by a multi-way stop at this location include park pedestrians, bicyclists, runners, all road users expecting other road users to stop when the Burgess-Rushing Tennis center is frequently crowded, and on Sundays when the Redeemer Church's three worship services are in session.
