Left turn signal ever considered?

At Harrison and 10th Street, the 10th Street crossing signal allows >30 seconds, but the Harrison St. crossing signal allows pedestrians only about 15 seconds. Yu Ming Public School children cross Harrison at 10th Street on their way to recess every morning in Lincoln Park. We are requesting that the timing for the WALK signal for crossing Harrison be increased to at least 30 seconds to allow a class of children to get across.

This should be an area where no u-turns are alowd because it is in front of a fire station

There is a bus stop on both sides and cars come real fast on both the turns on MLK. I have seen cars spend out and luckily they didn't hit anyone and then they just kept going. Once you get off the bus, students (like my daughter who attends Berkeley high school), elderly people (who walk slowly), handicap (like my neighbor who is blind) have a hard time crossing. You must wait for a nice driver to stop for you, then other cars will stop or you must wait to NO cars are coming.

That's why I'm only requesting for the button/press when crossing, flashing lights (on the street and on the pole), so cars will have to stop only when a pedestrians need to cross the street.

I would be happy to meet with Mr. Joe Wang and show how the cars come around the turn from Alcatraz St. real fast and you can't see them coming, then you must move fast if you cross. Also, coming off the 51st freeway exit, cars sometimes still come down the street like they are still on the freeway. Drivers are always blowing the horn at each other because they go too fast and move into each other’s lanes.

I could get my neighbors to let you know how many times at 61st there have been car accidents, because drivers are whipping down our street way too fast. I hope this help you understand why I’m requesting the flashing cross lights and how this type of light is very much needed at least at the 61st street crossing.

The light at 11th & Castro, right turning into 11th is only times at 3 seconds & only allows 1-2 cars to go through. It causes a back up onto highway 24.

May 1st my family lost 24 year old Gustavo Roman Valdez in a motorcycle accident that resulted in his death, from what it looks like person failed to yield to on coming traffic while making a turn we would like this light fixed to prevent future accidents and tragedies

The flashing crosswalk lights (embedded in the street along the crosswalk), are not functioning.
