Sign and Traffic Lights IssuesAcknowledgedBrunswick St & Hibernia St Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, B5A, CAN - Yarmouth TownThis is a very popular and busy bud stop. Parents of children using this spot contacted me and said it’s very dangerous because it is not a 4 way stop. Ideally, it should be a 4 way stop with crosswalks but at least crosswalks put in. The other issue is that the hills and sun create blind spots.

Sign and Traffic Lights IssuesAcknowledgedForest St & Park St Yarmouth, NS, B5A, CAN - Yarmouth TownSpeeding traffic from top of Forest St down to Main St.
Stop signs have recently been installed at corners of Forest and Park on North and south facing corners which is great but my husband and dog were almost hit at around 11 pm the other night when a car speeding toward Main St overtook and passed a pick up truck heading towards Main. My husband was crossing Forest St. and the passing incident happened in front of our home. I believe stop signs should be on east and west corners of Forest and Park thereby making it a 4 way stop. Many racing cars travel towards Main St by our corner. -
Sign and Traffic Lights IssuesAcknowledgedArgyle St & Ellis Rd Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, B5A, CAN - Yarmouth TownNobody stops at this stop sign. The request is a stop sign warning on the Ellis Road prior to the stop sign on the corner. Cars drive through the stop sign on Ellis onto Argyle all the time. Also, a line could be painted on the road to warn as well

Sign and Traffic Lights IssuesAcknowledged219 Water St Yarmouth, NS, B5A 1L9, CAN - Yarmouth TownI use the crosswalk that is on main street by the Wendy’s restaurant. I use this crosswalk daily while I walk my dog and my elderly mother. I press the button when I want to cross, and I have almost been hit as cars are not aware I am there. Today I stood there waiting to cross while the lights were flashing and five cars drove by not letting me cross. I really think there needs to be a red stop light put there to prevent accidents or injury to pedestrians. This is not the first time this has happened, but it is the first time that I have filled out this form to bring your attention to this problem and unsafe matter
