1101–1103 Dorset St South Burlington 05403, United States - South Burlington
Timing of Dorset/Swift traffic signal: skips the Dorset southbound traffic every other cycle. When there is a southbound Dorset green signal it is so brief that only 1-3 vehicles make the light.

Dorset St And Williston Road South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
It is inexcusable that in one of Vermont's busiest intersections the lights at Williston Rd and Dorset St are blinking in the morning. It is incredibly dangerous to try to turn left from Dorset St onto Williston Rd and there are many cars trying to do it. This is the second time this week there has been an issue with those lights. Please figure out how to get it fixed and keep it fixed before there is an accident that could have been prevented with working lights.

Vegetation overgrown into shoulder forcing bikes and walkers into car lane.

1725 Dorset St. South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
The tall grass south of our driveway needs to be routinely mowed so that we can see to get out of our driveway. It is in the city right of way between the road and the ditch. The city mows the bike path area on the other side of the road and will occasionally do our side if we call but only then. In the meantime my 80 year old husband is trying to maintain it and this is an accident waiting to happen. Thank you.
  • Safe Visibilityتم إقراره
Cobblestone Circle Entrance South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
The Cobblestone Circle exit view is blocked by tall grass. Pulling out of the neighborhood is difficult for drivers turning Left or right onto Van Sicklen . Bikers and cars are at a risk of not being seen by drivers exiting the neighborhood.
    With Appreciation!!

  • 5 Dorset Street South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
With the addition of the lane delineators, there is not enough room to accommodate cyclists and vehicles sharing the road.

18 Andrews Avenue South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
There is a blind corner on the bike path connecting Orchard and Laurel Hill. A dome mirror is needed here for safety.

Crosswalk not responding to call button or extreme delay when crossing Williston road from near gas station.
  • My street is boat storageتم إقراره
10 Deerfield Rd South Burlington, VT, 05403, USA - South Burlington
Someone is leaving a boat in a trailer on our street. We don't think it actually belongs to anyone on our street - it doesn't belong to our neighbors.

The corner of Baldwin Ave and Newton Ave is dangerous for pedestrians. As a pedestrian, walking along the corner from Greening Ave to the crosswalk @ Baldwin & Newton Ave is dangerous anytime there two cars are going around the corner in opposite directions, especially during high traffic times (school drop-off/pick-up). It also forces pedestrians to walk along the right hand side of the road in order to use the crosswalk, so there is traffic to our back. We need a sidewalk, or some other pedestrian friendly solution, to keep our children and neighbors safe when walking around this corner.

Additionally, the crosswalk itself @ Baldwin & Newton is fairly dangerous given the incoming traffic from three different directions. There is not any stop or yield signs for vehicles in this 3-way intersection, nor is there even a crosswalk sign.

Given the proximity to the school, more attention and thought needs to be given to this intersection with a focus on pedestrian safety.

Please see attached file for visual of the area.

Every day I see unsafe turn lane usage in the area where people turn left from Dorset St. onto Kennedy Drive. People enter the turn lane which would lead them into SBHS, cross through the oncoming traffic's turn lane which would lead to them turning into the city offices, and then finally enter the proper turn lane to lead into Kennedy Drive. Might orange posts or other strategy help this?
