Per 540 CMR 22.00, security vehicles can have flashing or striking lights (with a permit), although the lights should only be engaged when the vehicle is on the way to respond to a security emergency. Cambridge Crossing security has lights on constantly. Including flashing in apartment windows at night. This is unacceptable. Please address this or revoke their permit for abuse of lights.
