  The condition of the street is horrendous. Our cars suspension is being traumatized on every trip up and down the Court. This is a necessary repave not just a fill in the potholes.

  The erosion around the fire hydrant and entrance to the street is a danger, and not just an inconvenience. The entire street is by far the worst condition overall I have encountered in Oakland.

  On March 16, 2020, a large construction truck with trailer experienced difficulties getting out of Eastwood Court on to Shepherd Canyon Road. The construction is a rebuild of 65 Eastwood Court, partially destroyed by a fire. It took the truck and trailer at least 15 minutes to extract from apparently going off the south side of the entrance to Eastwood Court. In the process, the entrance, already seriously undermined by a vehicle accident that knocked over the fire hydrant, is much more seriously damaged.

  This erosion presents a danger to our cul de sac- there is no other entrance or exit onto the street. If a garbage truck or other gets stuck during fire season (as has already happened) or the fire hydrant gets hit (as has already happened), there is no escape route from a house or vegetation fire (as has already happened). We all pay our taxes and there is little semblance of a road left on Eastwood court. The state of our street is embarrassing and a risk to the people who live here as well as emergency responders.

  the entire street is a hazard. there are a large number of kids on this court, riding their bikes up and down over endless potholes. please please please repave before someone breaks an arm or worse.
