I can confirm this is a major problem with this street. The bulge is almost a foot higher at peak than rest of road. It appears to be from underground sewer pipe that is runs along this path between 2 manholes. Many cars have hit this scraping the bottom of their cars. Kids are also now digging up the crumbled asphalt and making it more hazardous. We appreciate your attention to this matter.

Thank you for reporting this issue to the Macon-Bibb Public Works Department. This issue will be addressed as soon as possible.

The city sent a few workers out yesterday to look at this issue and they cut a big rectangle around the large protrusion and sunken area in the middle of the road. If a patch is being made - this will not resolve the problem. There is a bigger underlying issue that is causing the street to buckle. You can also see it closer to the sewer where the edges of the street have also sunken. Please take a good look at this before just patching. It looks to be related to the path between two manholes. It has been patched before. Thanks for your assistance.
