Descrição
Just to clarify: The location is NE 55TH Street, Sammamish, WA, 98074.
This wall is constructed on the 202 highway but is not constructed until it the end of the house row. It prematurely ends before going to the end. Due to the increased road noise and traffic sounds, it is causing hearing issue for people living here. It is hurting kids and making it difficult to stay in the house when the traffic is at peak. Another danger I foresee without wall to the house on this side is that there is minimum fence barriers which can be easily scaled by unknown people causing safety issues. We have sighted many Animals (Bears, Cayotees, deers) in our backyards which makes it very difficult for kids to play in our backyard.
My community and I request the authorities to atleast assess the safety, noise level and barrier from the road and extend this wall to the end of the row houses so we can have some barrier between road and houses to avoid issues.

Jim Laughlin can be contacted at (206) 440-4643.
If it is the case that you desire to build a fence on your property, the City of Sammamish permits fences and you can learn more about this permitting process by contacting the City's Permit Center at (425) 295-0500 or with this link: https://www.sammamish.us/media/56699/220-fencing.pdf
