Repaint STOP lines in the Farmstead/Eastview neighborhood. Existing lines are faded.
Town of Windsor, CT assigned this issue to Helene Albert - Town Manager’s Office
Helene Albert - Town Manager’s Office assigned this issue to Brian Funk - Public Works
The Town has not been painting stop bars on the pavement on neighborhood streets for several years, as the cost is high. However, stop bars are generally painted on streets that intersect with streets with greater traffic volumes, such as those that interect with Poquonock Avenue.
We will look at the intersections within this neighborhood to determine where work is needed.
I noticed that a cat had been hit and left at the corner of High Path/ Kennedy Rd. Thank you for taking care of this I appreciate it.

Thank you for bring this issue to our attention. I understand that the Animal Control Officer is dealing with this issue this morning.
I was happy to see the Windsor ave median strip being mowed by the Toro 580 fairway mower with both wings raised and the median being scalped to a level that would take off an ant's antennae. I presume this operator is not being paid more than minimum wage to most likely be dulling or destroying the blades on this prime equipment designed for something other than median strips. I cannot imagine utilizing town equipment in this fashion. I would be more than happy to supervise the mowing of the rest of the Median strip from Park Ave to Wilson should you need me.
Numerous potholes all along Batchelder Rd down to grounds garage
We have received your issue and will address it as soon as possible. We appreciate your help in maintaining our streets.
These potholes were filled and work was completed by Public Works on May 14, 2014.
We will look into other methods for carrying out this work on this median going forward.
This section of the street is scheduled for milling and paving this year. We will continue to fill potholes in this section as they develop prior to the paving work.
