    The construction work on Joslyn Road, north of Walton Blvd. has set idle for 3 weeks now. Very little work has been performed in this time. I thought the work was to be completed by Sept. 3rd.
    All this does is allow Auburn Hills to post a speed limit in their area so they can issue tickets all day long. The Road work isn't even in their city limits. This is only a speed trap to boost their revenue at the expense of hard working people.
    I'm not one of the people issued tickets, but I watched people being pulled over all day long.
    Clean up Joslyn, remove the barrels, and put the speed limits back to their normal speeds, and quit the speed traps in Auburn Hills. That includes Pontiac Police, Auburn Hills Police and the Oakland County Sheriffs.
  • 663 Wesbrook St Pontiac, MI 48340, USA - Pontiac
    Between 8-8:30 pm on March 30, 2011, there were two loud gunshots fired at 663 Wesbrook which resulted in a person being hit in the chest. Two suspects fled on foot cutting through the back yards of neighbors. Pontiac Police were on the scene approx. 3 minutes of the shooting. They were later accompanied by the Oakland County Sheriff Dept. along with the K-9 unit. Neither PPD or the Sheriff Dept made any statements in regards to if the suspects have been caught. At this time,the victims condition is unknown. There had been past issues at 663 Wesbrook where police were called. This address has become a nuisance to neighbors, at all times of the day and night. It is believed that drugs are sold at this address. There is entirely too much traffic in and out that house. The residents of Wesbrook Street is calling for action from PPD or the Sheriff's Dept which ever one want to tackle the problem. BURN THE HOUSE DOWN WITH THEM IN IT FOR ALL I CARE!!! Something needs to be done ASAP before innocent bystanders become injured. Children and the elderly are at risk!!!

    I would like everyone to no that on Friday, July 9th around 12:00am there was at least 7 Oakland County Sheriffs Patrolling VG's Parking lot, all of baldwin, and several other areas of Pontiac. The best thing was they were pulling cars over and sending people to jail (yeah). I wish this could happen more often, then the hooker and drug problems would go away

    Speed limit from MLK to Opdyke Rd should be posted 45 MPH. There are no WB signs and EB signs are 35 MPH. There has been no speed study since South Blvd was repaved. Sheriff is now patrolling and issuing tickets. Fight them!

    Everyone makes a right turn on red when it's not legal. This is right outside the courthouse where lots of sheriffs mill around. Either remove the sign or enforce the law.

    Every day on the way home from work, I am passed on Featherstone, right by the Pontiac Silverdome, by vehicles travelling at least 15 mph over the posted speed limit. I have even seen people pass the fast lane traffic, by going into the turn lane a 55 mph PLUS!!

    Maybe once a month I will see an Oakland County Sheriff patrol car parked there by the drive-in location. More police presence could generate revenue from the amount of reckless driving that ignorant drivers use.

    Vehicles constantly run the stop sign at Genesee and Wenonah, especially during the afternoon hours. Sheriff's department? We don't see them.
