    At the end of last year, there was a fire in Apgar Warehouse near the corner of Apgar and West in Oakland. Afterward, security came to patrol and a gate was put in around the warehouse to prevent people from coming in. As no one is there now, people are coming back, going in and out to fetch the trash and items inside of there, and to sleep there. There is a hole in the gate that opens up to the driveway next door, which people have also been using to go in and out. A car was parked just in front of the warehouse today, and the gate came down on the car because it had been loosened. On top of that, this trash site is obviously unsanitary and a breeding ground for dangerous situations. Please address it. Even if we are in a pandemic, that is all the more reason to ensure the safety and well-being for everyone in proximity to this warehouse, so that another fire or something worse does not happen.
