Crew began work at 10:30a this morning (Sunday). Went out and asked to speak to a supervisor, told there wasn't one. I informed them that it was a code violation to do outside constructuon work on a Sunday. The crew stopped using heavy equipment, but contunued to do outside work in violation of the BI Code for construction hours.

I have heard from people about how fast cars come in on Madrona Way NE from Madison. I think some drivers think it is still 25mpg on Madrona. There is a lot more people moving into the area, some with little kids, some elderly people doing walks. The elderly cannot get out of the way of a speeding car. I asked a few years ago about getting a new speed sign of maybe 10mph. If you don't have 10mph then maybe 15mph with a speed machine showing people how fast they are going for these residential roads once a new sign goes up. I have noticed that there is a new sign telling people there is no way out of the area. There have been so many people driving through thinking there is a way out. Once they realize there is no way out, most of them turn around and drive fast to get out, or there are the ones that drive through the "Islander Residents Association", going fast and I am afraid someone may get hurt. I know when the roundabout is done this problem will go away but we really need a new speed limit sign for this residential area.

City building dept closed building permit BLD20801 incorrectly. The permit was for a 4 shipping container garage, at the time of closure the building was 5 containers and a appurtenance on the back. The building is now at least 50% larger than allowed by permit. It appears that the extra addition extends into the critical area buffer. It also appears that the Group "U" designation for the structure is incorrect as the building is used for car repair/modification, machine shop, blacksmithing, welding and fabrication area and minor/adult welding school as well as additional classes such as kinetics and electronics.

Look into moving STOP sign back so it does not cause obstruction to "5 mph sign" for roundabout.

Signs are confusing, not equally visible from all directions and roundabout is too small Please see link below from Nextdoor,

Hello - would it be possible to get a "Dead End" sign posted at the beginning of Madrona Way NE? In the last few months there has been a significant increase in traffic coming down the road because I assume they think it's a thru street, and then use our driveway to turn around - 4 cars just today! The No Thruway sign either isn't visible enough or people just don't understand what that means. Thank you!

Looking for guidance - a resident of The Walk apartment complex repeatedly allows his dog off leash, where it then defecate's in our landscaping on our property. The owner does not pick up after the dog, and despite numerous times asking him to please not allow his dog to relieve itself on our property, he becomes aggressive and combative, and refuses to stop the behavior or clean up - which is highly unsanitary. Calling animal control would not get a response in time, and this man refuses to stop his dog.

Across from 120 to 192 Madrona Way NE please look into scheduling curb sweeping for preventing debris entering storm drains. A few steel nails found curbside, picked up, and taken to trash today. Thank you for your consideration on this. Street is heavily used by construction vehicles.
