46th St And Queens Blvd New York, NY 11104 - Sunny Side
The large green metal boxes that control the streetlights are placed in such a way as to block the view of fast-moving traffic on Queens Blvd from pedestrians exiting the subway and crossing the street here. I don't know whether this is directly related, but there have been pedestrian fatalities at this intersection.
47-34 Vernon Blvd Long Island city , NY - Sunny Side
So since we have gotten the new landlord we never have heat or if it comes on it's because it's 20 degrees out and stays on for like a half hour. The landlord lets the heating oil run out constantly. There are roaches all over the basement dead. The hallway is never cleaned and he has now put the recycling garbage cans in the hallway when you walk in the door. Which is a fire hazard and unsanitary. The old landlord never let the heat fall ever and we never ran out of hot water. Now Mr L is buying up every apartment building on the block. Cause we are rent stabilized he is trying to make people leave by neglecting the buildings. Scumbag landlord alert. Thank god I'm moving.
37th Avenue+Barnett Ave On 48th Street Queens, NY - Sunny Side
on 48th street, between Barnett Avenue and 37th Avenue is a strecth of sidewalk which never gets shovelled; and remains frozen; this section is also the walkway to the main supermarket in the area Stop N Shop and people must walk in the street in traffic to avoid the ice. The city never addresses this issue and it is a danger especially to older people.

34-11 Vernon Blvd Queens, NY 11106, USA - Astoria-Long Island City
A small part of the sidewalk on the Rainey Park side of Vernon Blvd has been blocked off for almost two years now. The sidewalk was ripped open at some point of time and never fixed. Pedestrians have to go into street traffic to go around this part.
