Notified About

  • 452 Grand Ave South San Francisco, CA, 94080, USA - South San Francisco
I just walked from the Library, down Grand Ave. to Maple and in that short walk I saw 4 people smoking cigarettes and I had to unfortunately walk by 2 of them. I thought smoking was not allowed on Grand after Spruce. Anyway,It sure would be nice to enjoy a walk without having to smell that stench.
  • 437 Grand Ave South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA - South San Francisco
can we please get more of these signs all over Grand and all prohibited smoking areas? (all parking lots and side streets off Grand). you have these signs up at city hall and library at areas where no one even sees them.
please put them all over town to educate the public. no one even knows of the ordinance and it was passed 2 years ago
  • 306 Walnut Ave South San Francisco, California - South San Francisco
Grand Ave library and its surrounding area are in gross need of correct "No Smoking" signs - that is, signs that acknowledge the block-wide [Walnut to Maple and Grand to Miller] ban rather than the older ban that was based on distance from building entrance.

300–398 Walnut Ave South San Francisco CA 94080, United States - South San Francisco
Why is the little free library in front of Grand Library still nailed shut? The one at the Main Library on West Orange has been open for a while now. Surely the children in this part of town like free books, too.
  • 981-999 Antoinette Ln South San Francisco, CA, 94080, USA - South San Francisco
Are political signs of ANY kind allowed on city owned property? This sign is an electrical one and is inside the fence by the new SSF library construction.
  • 1 Chestnut Ave South San Francisco CA 94080, United States - South San Francisco
Please repaint the bike lane in front of the new police station. It is important to have a bike lane in there to continue the trail, at least while the new library is under construction.
  • Graffiti Archived
Antoinette Ln & Chestnut Ave South San Francisco, CA, 94080, USA - South San Francisco
Graffiti on the temporary "plastic type" fence by the Swinerton trailer offices at the site of the new Library facility. It is at the North end of Antoinette Lane and the continuation of the Centennial Trail. It says "Abolish SSF PD'' and some other writing.

429 Grand Ave South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA - South San Francisco
homeless camping in parks. cannot walk in park. scary dog barked at me. was tied to tree. animal control confirmed it is illegal to tie dogs up. when i took this photo the scary owner followed me harassing me why i took the photo. i told him it's illegal to tie dog up and he said not in ssf . again animal control confirmed it's against the law. it causes dogs to be hostile and can hurt the dog and others. stamp out homeless in park especially around town hall, library. we want to walk the grounds, sit on grass without stepping in human poo, heroin needles, typhis, hep c, etc
  • 825-829 W Orange Ave South San Francisco, CA, 94080, USA - South San Francisco
The one way on West Orange Ave between Westborough Blvd and Fairway Dr is a failure. It is never policed, it is an accident waiting to happen. Too many cars will drive the wrong way northbound past the library to get to Westborough Bl. Too many times leaving the library I've had to stop short of turning left because of a driver going against the one way sign. It's not just high school kids now. It's older adults who should know better but don't care. It might have made sense in trying to cut down the traffic northbound but now with the SSF City Services on El Camino and Westborough Bldgs that intersection is congested. I'm sure that if it's bottlenecked SSFPD would have trouble leaving the station. Either police it for wrong way drivers or return it to what it once was, a two way.
