Pothole Crusader (Pickens County SC)

Bad driveway/intersection in front of school. Dangerous to get into and out of driveway. Vehicles block roadway and only one officer is there when it gets really, really bad and doesn't intervene until the traffic is backed up.

I live on Gilliland Avenue, in Easley, SC. My street is used as a "cut-through" street from S 5th Street to Liberty Drive by alot of drivers. These drivers are very dangerous and can sometimes exceed speed limits of up to and sometimes over 45 mph. There are many children under the age of 5, my 19 month old bing one of those children, and the remaining residents are elderly. I have contacted the city of easley and so has a neighbor and we have yet to hear back from them. There are absolutely no speed limit signs nor caution signs letting drivers know that there are children present on the road. This is becoming dangerous and hazardous to all residents living on this road. If something is not done about this, it is only a matter of time that one of these speeders hit someone.

street needs speed signs or road bumps. have young kids here now in area. do not wish see anyone hit by vehicle. they use this as short cut to avoid lights on rte 8
