Cars disregard the 25 MPH speed limit, as well as the pedestrian crossing that they are supposed to observe at the corner of 17th & C St. SE. Pedestrians frequently get honked for trying to cross the street in the designated crosswalk area. Very unsafe. Right next to a park with a lot of kids.

There are two connecting alleys that need repair. One runs between the 1300 block of Independence SE and the 1300 block of Massachusetts SE. The other runs behind the houses on the 1300 block of these streets. Both alleys have a mixture of brick and concrete, with uneven surfaces and grass growing in various places. Rather than a piecemeal repair, I would like to see both alleys completely resurfaced as part of one of the alley paloozas.

People using the basketball court at Payne elementary throw trash in the grass next to the steps.

This is a constant problem. The people who live at 1706 Massachusetts Ave SE continually dump broken TVs, mattresses, furniture, etc in the alley and do nothing about it.

The weeds from the property are now blocking the sidewalk and are a home for mosquitoes. There is trash in the property and in the stairwell.

Blighted property. Owner pulled postcard permit to avoid vacant or blighted tax rate. Omer also did fake real estate listing to avoid blighted or vacant tax rate.

There is a generator that has been running for two solid weeks spewing diesel fumes into the neighborhood and it’s loud. 24 hours a day and runs.Clearly burning gas seems a better idea then getting something fixed. It is completely unattended at the boys and girls club the abandoned boys and girls club that is.
