Safety @ Intersection Acknowledged5203 Feagan St Houston, TX 77007, USA - Rice MilitaryAt intersection of Feagan and Reinerman residents are parking nearly completely in the street on Reinerman. This creates a very dangerous situation when turning onto Reinerman. I have witnessed and been in a few accident near misses involving pedestrians and other traffic. It is only a matter of time before accident occurs. Please institute this area as a no parking zone before this causes injury or fatality. A few no parking signs from the city could save a life. -

Nothing was ever done by the city with the last complaint about this busy intersection and now the traffic congestion and pedestrian safety has reached a saturation point where something needs to be done soon before someone is really hurt.
Some cars driving on Reinerman have driven right into oncoming Feagan traffic - there was an accident about 2 months ago when this very thing happened. Some cars/trucks on Feagan cannot enter Reinerman until the outgoing car on Reinerman moves giving the incoming car enough room to get onto Reinerman. This is exacerbated by the many construction workers and very large trucks in the area and by the number of vehicles that are speeding well above the 35 MPH limit on Feagan.
Speeding traffic is also intensified by those vehicles that are "cutting through" using our neighborhood streets as a shortcut to Memorial, Westcott, Shephard/Durham or Washington. I cannot even imagine how bad this dangerous traffic situation will become when the 3 new apartment complexes are finished and the local traffic increases by hundreds of vehicles!
Something needs to be done - either lower the speed limit, add speed undulations, or add stop signs on Feagan at Reinerman to slow these drivers down and save lives!!

Reinerman is too narrow we turning off Feagan when there is also a car stop at Reinerman, the street is completely blocked and the Feagan person turning has to let the Reinerman car go first anyway. We witness numerous near misses every day. -

I was honked at tonight for turning into my own drive, by a speeding driver behind me, even though I had my turn signal on. Action must be taken before more accidents occur. I am very concerned about serious injuries happening & road rage incidents with weapons being used leading to someone being shot.

Many residents have full recycling bins and bring them to the curb on scheduled days in a attempt at collection. They have not been collected and are full of roaches and infestations. Please collect, advise or remove these bins.
