Something needs to be done about the amount of dogs running in the ball field at trafton park now. They are unleashed, fighting with each other and the owners are treating the ball field as a new dog park. It’s really damaging an already damaged field and preventing a lot of kids from going into the field to throw a ball around.

Why is the Charter School allowed to use trafton park without a permit. They consistently have recess or gym class at the park during the school day. If they are refusing to allow the city to continue voting at the school, the city should crack down on unpermitted use of the park.

Disgusting abuse of power. Just parked on the bike path with little to no room to walk around on foot let alone on wheelchair. No one in the car and no other action around to justify blocking the BIKE path.

    Greetings City Hall!

I have included a link to an abutting property where heavy machinery is being housed. There are now three backhoes, a sanding attachment for a pick-up truck, various snow plow attachments, trailer bed, shovels , pails, etc. Are my neighbors following Malden rules for property use? Thank you for taking the time to respond.

    Sincerely,

    Darlene Doucet

Abutting business (property structure that houses Eliot services) has dumped their snow removal onto the bike path creating a pile that is approximately 4-5 feet high and 30 yards in length and covers the entire width of the path.

Every day between 5:30 & 6:00 A young man wearing a dark colored hoodie walks his dog. After his dog does his duty he puts it in a orange bag and throws it down the sewer. Look at the picture it’s piling up. I’ve asked him NOT to do it and he ignores me. Mr. Mayor please help address this situation. It’s bad enough that Webster Place is being overwhelmed with RATS during the day. I also called the Board of Health to address the rat problem. No one has returned my calls. Thank you

Is Malden making any special plans for traffic on Broadway? From the Moose Club to Speedway Gas Station in the morning is now taking almost half hour because of people trying to avoid going over the Tobin Bridge. With the Casino opening in June, is it time to start thinking about moving out of Malden? Are there going to be special detail officers to control the lights at these major intersections? It would be nice to see a Malden Traffic Cop pulling traffic through these jammed up intersections once in awhile.

Does MVRCS pay any mitigation fees to the city to offset the financial impact on the city for things like its use of city parks, plowing prioritization when they insist on opening when the rest of the city's schools are closed, and increased traffic? The school has managed to amass a tidy endowment with taxpayer funds and has now built its own facilities to use as revenue sources. Meanwhile, our regular public schools are in a dire funding crisis due largely to the city's financial mismanagement and unnecessary and highly questionable tax giveaways to real estate developers whose projects have skewed the state funding formula severely against us. Now we have a serious funding problem on our hands. Everyone needs to pull their weight and pay their fair share for the services they use. It is my understanding that other cities collect such fees. What do we collect? What more can we collect? And why don't we?

I watched entirely as four boys who were playing in the tennis courts on their bikes were asked to leave by the charter school who then took over for their recess or gym class. I asked the boys why they left and they said they were worried because there was a coach that told them to leave. I also heard the charter kids yelling at the boys that they had to leave. it was clear the charter school felt like they had right to kick out these boys. I am really upset that neighborhood people can't use a public park because of the charter school I would really like to talk to someone about this and find out what the charter schools permissions are

With the excessive rain, our yard typically floods. This is the first time we are seeing ducks in the pool of water and they look to be multiplying throughout the day. This has never happened in over a decade of living here. Anything we can do?
