Notified About

  • 6899 Rainwater Road Raleigh, NC 27615, USA - Raleigh Council District A
Please consider placing 3-way stops at intersections on Rainwater, in lieu of proposed 'traffic calming' obstacles. Gresham's Lake, Weybridge, and North Ridge would each work well as 3-way stop intersections where they meet Rainwater.
  • 1905 Spring Forest Rd Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A
The standard for striping colors on road in the US is that yellow stripes separate opposite traffic going in opposite directions, while white stripes separate lanes going in the same direction. While this is enforced mostly on public highways, why not encourage the same standard on private property starting with municipal projects? This road at the Anne Gordon Center was just opened and does not use the standard color. The correct color would reduce confusion among drivers.
  • Potholes Archived
Dixie Forest Rd Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District A
Entire road is full of potholes and has been for many years! PLEASE fix this road. Access is also vital to Millbrook High School and receives enormous amounts of traffic on a daily basis.
  • Street Light Archived
5901-5903 Timber Ridge Dr Raleigh, NC 27609, USA - Raleigh Council District A
Street light works only sporadically. This is a 6:15 a.m. bus stop for middle schoolers and needs to be lit.
  • Speeding Archived
Harps Mill Road Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District A
This is my 2nd post, and nothing has really been done! Too many cars including the police speed on Harps Mill Road (between Litchford Rd & Gresham Lake Rd.)
I've seen cars speed pass police and they do nothing!!
The speed limit was reduced to 25mph, but that was a waste of $$.
When can stop signs be placed in at least 2 spots on this stretch of this road?
  • 983 Spring Forest Road Raleigh, NC 27609, USA - Raleigh Council District A
Liberty Tax standing on the side of the road. Why is the sign ordinance not up held during the weekend when most violations happen. What can we do to get weekend enforcement.
  • Old Wake Forest Rd Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District A
From the intersection of Dixie Forest Rd, Atlantic Blvd, Litchford Rd and Old Wake Forest Rd to Capital Blvd, Raleigh. A total mess of potholes for many years and hughe dips where frozen water collects for severe driving conditions on "black ice" mornings for the thousands that commute on this road way. REALLY A BAD SCENE!
  • 6612-6798 Litchford Rd Raleigh, NC, 27615, USA - Raleigh Council District A
Up to 5 tractor trailers are parking along Litchford Rd. in a space where there are white no parking lines. This causes an obstruction from people leaving the Legacy North Pointe apartment community and others driving down Litchford Rd. We have spoken to someone with the City of Raleigh who said they would be out to put up no-parking signs or monitor the area, but that was over two months ago and no one has been out.
  • 5209 Cypress Lane Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A

The resident has pushed a monumental amount of leaves into the road. So much so that the leaves are blocking half of the road. I believe the missed Raleigh's leaf pickup by a couple of weeks and are making up for lost time.

I'm not sure if there will be another leaf pickup or if the resident should bag their leaves. Either way, the leaves are a road obstruction.

    Thanks.

  • Sandy Forks At Lynn Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District A

At the intersection of southbound Sandy Forks at Lynn Rd, the right lane is right turn only onto westbound Lynn. However, cars queued in left thru lane are constantly passed on the right with other thru traffic. There are frequent near misses in this intersection as two cars travel thru southbound into a single lane.

I uploaded a diagram to help explain the problem. Seems the right southbound lane of Sandy Forks should be converted to the thru lane, with left lane converted to left-turn only to eastbound Spring Forest. Or at least install a "do not pass on right" sign.

  • 1400 Quail Ridge Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A
The intersection at Falls of Neuse Rd. and Quail Ridge Rd. is VERY dangerous. There are typically multiple accidents at or near this intersection each month, which have been witnessed by local residents and businesses. Cars traveling north stay in the "right turn only" lane until the very last minute. However, vehicles taking a left onto Falls of Neuse Rd. are not aware of this last minute decision, and will proceed to turn off Quail Ridge Rd. There are a number of T-bone and rear end accidents that occur. On 2/21/17, there was a worse accident involving two cards that resulted in substantial vehicle damages and personal injuries. Given the open space at the apartments, there should really be a separate median that does not allow "right turn only" drivers to shift into the other lane at the last minute.
