  • Street Light Archived
2300-2398 Valley Street Oakland, California - Northgate
Please evaluate the section of Valley Street between 23rd and 24th Streets for increased wattage on the existing street lights. Thank you.
  • 522 20th Street (Thomss L Berkley Way) Oakland, California - San Pablo Gateway
The multi-family building under construction next to the climbing gym is occupying the sidewalk and had cordon-ed off a temporary crossing that was working well. Last week, the temporary crossing became a storage area for rebar and pedestrians are being directed to cross mid-block. This is a very un-safe situation. There is too much of a desire line to stay on the north side of the street, and I keep seeing people walking in the street instead of crossing. The street also has a lot of AC Transit buses running on it that don't mix well with pedestrians walking in the street. The buildings on the north side of the street include the County Social Services building, Uptown Place condos, SEIU, and climbing gym. Please require them to keep this crossing open. I am attaching a picture of a man in a walker crossing in the street here. Every day, I see something like this. Thanks in advance for your attention to this.
  • 3820 Clarke Oakland, CA - Mosswood
The dog at this address is constantly tied up on the porch, which is now against the law in California, and barks constantly: http://www.animallaw.info/statutes/stuscaca_hlth_s_122335.htm
  • 570-598 34th Street Oakland, California - Pill Hill
There is a park at the end of my street, to the right of the 24 freeway that is getting worse with graffiti and illegal dumping as well as people sleeping in tents and there is even an area people are using to cook with propane — a fire hazard on top of it all. I have called the police and DPW many times for not just drug use and prostitution on my street -- 33rd street where it curves to 34th -- but now the park where we usually take our dogs is now skid row. On top of our cars getting broken into 5 times, please help clean up the park as well as the illegal dumping on 33rd st. It would be great to be considered for street sweeping as well. Broken glass, garbage and used condoms stay on our street forever, and I am getting fed up, as are my neighbors. Please put us on your cleanup radar! I see the park is not actually named on the city map, but it is across the freeway from Grove Shafter Park
  • 552 30th Street Oakland, California - Pill Hill
30th St has a terrible speeding problem. Drivers frequency zip down 30th St. between Telegraph and MLK at over 60 miles per hour. I have personally witnessed three crashes where a speeding driver has ran into parked cars or even the freeway underpass. It is dangerous to cross the street and for bikers. Please install speed bumps. This photograph was taken 08/05/2014 after a driver crashed into three cars.
  • 37th And Telegraph Ave Oakland, CA 94607 - Mosswood
Excess trash that has been in front of First AME Church 2 weeks. This is unacceptable and a disrespect to the church.
  • 3830 Telegraph Oakland, California - Mosswood
    As the photograph indicates.
  • 556 30th St Oakland, California - Pill Hill
Abandoned and full of trash inside and on top. Junk thrown all over the sidewalk.
  • Telegraph & 39th Street Oakland, California - Mosswood
Descriptions of destinations, including Kaiser Hospital, are unreadable because of graffiti and stickers on both sides of sign.
  • 534-540 31st Street Oakland, California - Pill Hill
Homeless have set up makeshift tents on the Caltrans property at the end of 31st Street again for the third time this year. Caltrans has not fixed the fence or picked up the trash from the last two times, which is easily seen in the attached photo.
  • 3770 Telegraph Oakland, California - Mosswood
On pillar on the 38th Street side of the property.
  • 3407 Elm St Oakland, CA, 94609, USA - Pill Hill
Again there are tents going up on the other side of street under pass. as well as a couch and broken down vehichles! I have several pictures of all the garbage you have not removed. Telegraph is a major historical street in Oakland. This is a business area , not some warehouse dock!
