How can we ask the state hwy dept. to please pave this area of hwy 205 in Rockwall Co. with rubberized asphalt to make it quieter, and give us a left turn at Chisholm Trl?

    hwy 205 is like driving down a dirt road. It needs repaving again. They need to do it correct this time.
    Between Rockwall I-30 and Mclendon-Chisolm. As of now 8/17 they just put
    a thin layer of black top with tar spray
    yet did not fill in any holes. Today they
    are painting stripes on this horrible
    job. I hope they are not considering this job complete.

    Left turn lane on 549 to turn left onto 205 - this lane can get backed up quite a bit, but even during normal traffic times it's an issue. This signal is ridiculously short, as it allows only 4 cars through on the green light. It's not unusual to have to sit through 2 - 5 signal cycles in order to turn left onto 205 from 549.
  • 205 & 549/Lofland Rockwall, Texas - Rockwall
    At the Light of 549 and 205, there is an ugly uneven road ditch that is waiting for an accident to happen. The intersection is to dark to see at night if you are not familiar with the area.
