Hey all at the WBTV! The intersection i am taking about is old hwy16 and 73. i do understand that the area has grown up so fast and traffic is a mess but this intersection is crazy. see if you are going towards charlotte and want to turn right onto 73 there is no yield sign or merging traffic sign so people are stopping even through they are to stay in there own lane and contiue on. Now this intersection is right below East Lincoln High School and the students at a risk here to. They have no idea what to do here. cause there is no signs and the painted solid line is half covered with pavement. its all a mess and its been that way since they put it in over a year ago. and to beat it all they put a walgreens exit and entrance there in the turn lane, i have witnessed people turning left out of there crossing over the medium to go left. and the lights are not right either. if you are turning left onto 16 towards hickory 5 cars make it through the light. its ricdiclous people are bumping into eachother and someone is goig to get hurt bad one day. im begging you to help! ive talked to people in the neighborhood and we are all very concerned even the young drivers going to school! This intersection has a new traffic light and the timing is way off. Traffic is backing up all the time. The left turn arrows only allow four cars to go at a time. This is causing another three or four cars to red the red light.

Can the owner have their landscaper take out the lower limbs of the trees in front of Rite Aid and Bojangles near Business 16 and Hwy 17? It’s tough to see oncoming traffic.

There has been a dip here for years that has yet to be fixed. It is immediately before the stop sign where you can turn onto Highway 16. The dip sinks your car in both ways, and resembles a speed bump.

I have travelled throughout the county. The only road that has been plowed is Hwy 150. Business Hwy 16 has not been touched, or any other roads, major or secondary. I find this rather amusing because at time there are 5-6 patrol cars on Hwy 16 writing seatbelt tickets. It sure seems to me that if they can find the revenue to employ these troopers throughout the year, maybe they should start putting the plows on the police cars.
