    The Whittier Greenway Trail has been made from disused portions of an old UP Railroad,and as such takes the 2% grade trains need, so that the former tracks are raised in places, notably the bridges at (main thorofares) Norwalk Blvd and '5 Points' =SFS Rd, Whittier & Washington Bls, Pickering Av & La Cuarta St. DIRECT ACCESS IS NEEDED: Handrailed stairs or ramps connecting the trail as briefly as safely possible to the streets (or even old-fash counterweight elevators). The Trail also much needs connection across Pioneer Bl to the SG River Bikeway.

It's common to see cars travelling in speeds of 60 mph even though the posted speed limit is 25. We need speed humps on our street badly! Besides animals being killed all the time, one day this could be a little kid playing out in the street.

    Football practices are being held by an organized group on Wednesdays at 5pm. Practice is now lasting after dark and coaches are utilizing whistles to direct activities. I had the understanding after reading Municipal code 12.08.060 games and activities that no person shall have such activities unless in a specified area ? We have had problems with groups holding practices then games in this park before , and it was only stopped after many complaints. Please make a note of it and see if they can be relocated to the appropriate approved place .
