Bureau of Rodent Control

Again, there are pieces of furniture littering the alley behind 6972 N. Sheridan Road. This is an ongoing issue. The dumpsters are constantly overflowing and there are rats everywhere. In addition, the building is infested with bedbugs and the building residents throw out furniture every week. This building needs to be inspected and taken care of.

Neighbor has overflowing garbage each week. This is contributing to rats and squirrels in the north end of the alley.

The rat population in West Ridge has risen due to the mild winter. We need more rat baiting in the alleys, especially the areas near Devon Ave.

I regularly see rats scurrying into bushes and burrows next to 6325 and 6327 N. Mozart. Discarded snack packages, thrown onto lawns and gangways by CVS patrons, helps feed these rats. We need poison placed inside the burrows and poison boxes placed all around these two apt. buildings.
