    We will always post with our real names- as our address is listed.
    This is Boney McBonerson (yes we named it)
    We stay within the city of Sterling Heights codes as the city states.
    We like to dress it- per holiday but lately there are some that don't like our Skelly and like to call us 'childish' and 'clueless idiots' and say it's 'stupid' and it looked 'stupid' even during HALLOWEEN!
    Just wanted to let everyone know- I am outside in front most days- 2pm-9pm and please come and speak to me if you don't like him. We understand it's not for EVERYONE. But it's for 'us'
    We worked really hard to own our own home, have a child that's goes to Bemis and have asked our close proximity neighbors if they mind him.
    Please know we are not trying to 'offend' anyone, but it is our property, just like most of you who have lawn decor- holiday decorations- maybe things we don't personally 'love' but we respect the fact that it's YOUR home, not ours. Be yourself, I teach my son- be true to you.
    And these are really hard to buy- We did wait almost 3 years to find one.

    The neighbor is running a business out of his home/garage. The city has been out before but nothing seems to happen. His work vehicles & big trailers are constantly parked overnight & weekends. This is now the 2nd time he has dumped about 2 yards of rocks on Westchester and has an orange cone sitting in the middle of the road. He is using the city streets as his own work yard. Please do something about this.

    Can we all just stop reporting petty things that you aren't happy with? This neighborhood doesn't have an HOA, does not have a neighborhood watch, and frankly, doesn't need one. I'm subscribed to the area just to see if I get reported for something and I get several emails a week from people targetting the same houses, over and over.

    They can have work vehicles. A car leaking oil on their driveway isn't an EPA environmental disaster. People are just living their lives. Someone reported a house for a new roof and the city actually cited them and gave a week to GET A NEW ROOF. You ever try to get a contractor to do some work? Think it'll get done in a week? Think again. Not to mention the thousands of dollars a new roof costs. Here's a novel idea: if it's not your property, just ignore it.

    If you're so particular about your neighbors yards and houses, move to a million dollar subdivision. Or better yet, don't like that people leave bushes and trees to grow naturally? Go get your tools and take care of it yourself. No one is stopping you.
