There is an illegal homeless camp at this location dumping trash and contaminating with human waste. This has gone on for over two months. They are not allowed to be here. The fourth precinct refuses to remove them even though it is their job to address issues with the Land Bank. This lot is owned by the Land Bank and there are confirmation emails stating they are not allowed to be on this property. The entire block is mad that the city will do nothing. This needs to be handled IMMEDIATELY!! This is not the first request from our street. They are using and selling drugs (have this on video and photos) and exposing themselves mid day breaking the law of public decency and sexual misconduct as underage children live in the majority of the houses. If this is not taken care of the neighborhood has decided it will take action in other ways. This is not the Detroit I want to live in. PLEASE DO YOUR JOBS!

the park hours are 6am-10pm and #17 states that no overnight camping is allowed without permission from a park administrator. Please address the issue of the woman living in the park with her belongings. Also, the park lights are not working, and the trash needs to be picked up regularly.

This is unacceptable! The black building on michigan, the two houses the same owners purchased behind the building on cicotte (two houses one lot) and the red house 4095 are dumping onto this open lot. For SEVEN YEARS we have done everything to have this issues addressed and the city WILL NOT take care of this lot- two of these parcels are owned by the city!!!!! As residents it is not our job to clean YOUR property. It is dangerous- there are used drug paraphernalia throughout the lot making cleanup a biological hazard that you the city are putting on the residents. Eva Torres has been contacted about this lot for years and has done NOTHING to help rectify the situation. The grass is now growing over the trash as we have told her it would. If nothing is done the media will be called out to discuss the blatant and intentional disregard for our neighborhood. We as a community are at the end of the rope here. Where do the mayor and Eva Torres live? I ask because they dont have to wake up every single day and come home every single day to a city that disrespects its residents in such a demeaning way. Would they like all of this trash on their yard and in their neighborhoods?!?! You have hundreds of residents VERY FURIOUS!!! We know the laws, we know what has not been done, we know it all. We have friends and family members working in city departments letting us know- point blank- what is going on down here planning wise and what youre doing to the residents by proxy. Detroit, you have some extremely intelligent individuals living in this area now and we know the system. If you keep ignoring us we will take action against the city.

The area West of the Valero Gas Station at the NB Southfield Service Drive at Grand River is a continuous daily dumping ground. Blocking traffic is also an issue at this corner from pandhandlers and peoplr selling items at this busy area. The City needs to clean this area up and eliminate the source.

Consider this my "Improve Detroit" request for March, April, May. etc, ... because this issue will only get worse and more dangerous with warm weather coming if it is not stopped. Our community needs some postive resolution to this ongoing blight problem.

Fire hydrant on the NE corner of Woodstock and Lichfield is running water into the street. The temperature is dropping to below freezing. This is a dangerous hazard. There have been City of Detroit workers, possible the Water Department in the neighborhood earlier today and they may have left it on.

You need to take photos and go to mayors office to put on complaint, also send the photos and email this complaint to state representatives and senators because this is happening on a regular basis in southwest Detroit. Our district 6 officials don’t care. You are not alone in the battle.

Eastbound 75 Service Drive between 2nd Avenue and Cass Avenue - MAJOR ASPHALT UPHEAVAL that stretches across the inner and center lane of the service drive. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS....as the service drive is one of the major thoroughfares to the sports & entertainment venues. The other day I witnessed a vehicle break a tie rod going over it which almost caused the vehicle behind him to crash into him. I'm not sure if the City of Detroit has the proper equipment to handle, but it needs to be GROUND DOWN at the very least until the service drive is eventually resurfaced.

The alley way has been blocked by the owner of the corner lot not the city of Detroit. I did not think it was legal to block off a alley way as all the residents on this street as well as the street behind us all have rear parking and have to share the same alley making it very difficult with only one way in and out. This is ridiculous and needs to be removed. As tax payer of the city of Detroit I should not have to deal with this traffic issue on a daily basis just to get in and out of my drive way.

Homeless encampment under the bridge on Detroit side of 8 Mile/Woodward has massive amount of garbage and debris.

This issue was reported last on 12/20/2021. This issue was acknowledged by DPW Environmental Enforcement - SS "Thank you for submitting your concern. A work order has been issued to have this investigated to facilitate any required debris removal. 12/20/21.
This issue was closed by Environmental Enforcement - TB "Thank you for submitting this issue to the City of Detroit. This matter has been referred to Detroit Land Bank Authority for investigation and resolution. 1/05/22. - Closed and Archived.

It has been over a year plus and this area is now filled with debris that has been dumped from the corner of Webb and Ostego to the middle of the block on Webb before Petoskey.

Trash is also not being picked up as well. Can we please get this blight and out of our neighborhood and cleaned up. Why is this situation on this block as well as Tuxedo keep getting ignored and passed off between departments?

Please get this cleaned up!! Next step will be to contact the news to get his situation addressed.

The neighbors have turn the service drive into a dump site. This is on going and the pile continues to grow. The dump site is on John C Lodge at Hazelwood, Eastside of the freeway.
