We have had a rat problem for a while on Perry Place, NW, right off 14th st. It's not too surprising as we are right behind Panam grocery (really busy and dirty), but it seems to have become worse lately... I almost stepped on a dead rat in my backyard today, and there was one out in front of our house a few weeks ago. I think a bunch must live in the alley back behind the grocery store/our houses, where all the trash is. There is often trash outside of cans that does not get picked up for a while. If the city could please help out with the cleanliness and rat problem in this area. it would make the area a lot more sanitary and livable. Thanks.
