People are still parking in the NO PARKING area across from Beecher School on Jewel St. I have reported this many times and have talked to Doug Hausladen and Richard Furlow but nothing changes. I know the school buses will someday be re-routed to the back of the school but who knows when. AND, that will not prevent people from parking in the NO PARKING area across from the school. At least put orange cones there if you won't put a permanent barrier, such as a curbstone, there. On occasion, there is a parking officer there to give out tickets but not often enough. When the school buses are on Jewel St. and cones are put in front of the school to make the buses' territory there is only room for one car to travel on the street due to the errant parking cars. Why won't this be taken care of?

Cars are still parking in no-parking areas across from Beecher School. Especially when school buses are on Jewel, it is difficult or impossible to travel along Jewel St. And, it is, in fact, a no parking zone which the city of New Haven doesn't seem to care about.

Once again, 18 wheelers are parking on Jewel Street on the weekends. This is the second weekend in a row that a truck is parked here. This had stopped for a while but clearly is back in progress.

Another 18 wheeler is parked on Goffe St. near Osborn. This is a residential neighborhood and the truck should not be there.

The outside of this house is a mess as well as the yard. On weekends, a cab of an 18 wheeler is parked outside on the street. Maybe this is legal, but it's sure not neighborly.

This house looks worse than ever. This neighborhood has been dealing with this issue for more than 3 years. It is difficult to believe that this house is not condemned after all the time it was left open to the elements after the Easter Day fire 3 years ago. All of us neighbors would like to see this house taken down. What a great place for a community garden this would be.

This old service station is a mess. The property needs cleaning up.

White 18 wheeler (Logo: SWIFT; Indiana license plate 2464454) was parked all weekend at the cemetery on Jewel St. This has been an issue in the past and seemed to be over but apparently not. I called the police nonemergency number on Saturday to report this but the truck was still in place without a ticket on Sunday afternoon when I went by. We need enforcement here.

HUGE POTHOLES on Valley St. near this intersection. I had to wait for oncoming traffic to end so I could move to the other side of the street to pass by these gigantic potholes.

44 Diamond St. was burned nearly 2 years ago on Easter Day, 2013. It is truly a mess, a blight on our neighborhood. After a year, the windows were boarded up but the blue roof tarp has been gone for a very long time. There is trash around the outside of the house, mail on the front stoop.

Much of Blake St. between Fitch and Valley have many, serious potholes. Valley St. is also full of them.
