    Yesterday about 12:40 I was coming down Old Alabama Rd, and as I was beginning to merge in to the Breckenridge subdivision left turn lane, I nearly had a horrible accident; someone was in the lane facing me attempting to turn in to the new dental office. So dangerous!!
    So a couple of things:
    1) The Breckenridge turn lane is technically one car length long since the repaving...no time to decelerate.
    2) When I called the dentist office to tell them that they needed to encourage their patients not to break the traffic law, they told me that Johns Creek is converting our left turn lane in to a turn lane for them instead!
    3) I called JC and the lead DOT person is on the road now. However I've been assured they will call me back once I explained the reason I was calling.
    4) Is this true about Breckenridge losing our turn lane? The current situation is a definitely a hazard!
    5) I also ask that JC puts the dentist office on notice so that they discourage this dangerous practice.
    Breckenridge has had this turn lane for over 20 years! It is most definitely needed, and I'm afraid eliminating it would be a big mistake.

    The newly paved roads & new sidewalks on Old Alabama Rd near the Newtown Park area are AWESOME! Thank you! My question is, when are the painted crosswalks, turn-lane arrows, etc. going to be completed in this area? They seem to be marked out but have been unfinished for quite a while now. It would be the last thing to make the roadwork complete. Thanks so much!

    Dozens of these signs were placed all over neighborhoods near Newtown Park this week. I removed 4 of them in the front of our Breckenridge subdivision alone. Perhaps JC can contact the business and fine them, or at least tell them to remove their signs? They are trashy and an eyesore. (Name & number on signs say "James Hardie, 770-333-8174" Decks, Roofing, etc)
