    We have been paying taxes that are supposed to be allocated evenly and fairly throughout the City. A portion of our taxes are meant to maintain our alleys, streets, bridges. Our alley, which has not been maintained one single time in the 13 years that my family has occupied this residence, is gross. It is overgrown with weeds, and brush, trash, potholes, etc.
    I have requested attention to our alley a couple of times already, and the complaints have gone completely unanswered.
    I would greatly appreciate it if this year our alley could be cleaned and groomed. I would be willing to do the work myself if I had the proper equipment to do the job.

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do something about the people who constantly speed down North Wheeling Street. We have been dealing with an ongoing problem. Between the intersections of Wheeling and Consaul, and the intersection of Wheeling and York, people regularly speed to attempt to beat oncoming trains.

    There are a number of young children in this stretch of street who regularly play outside, and cross the street. I am scared to death that one of these occasions are going to end drastically.

    Honest to God, I have personally witnessed cars driving in excess of 50 - 60 mph down this street. It is a residential neighborhood. I had witnessed a car hit those railroad tracks so hard one day, the guy dropped his drive-shaft.

    I've complained about this issue with the traffic department and it too, has gone unaddressed.

    Please, lower the speed limit to 25 or 30, put in some speed humps, and reinforce it with a Roadside Speed Detector.
