This sidewalk in my neighborhood has been painted to mark for repair three times now in the last year and a half. Is it really going to be fixed or is it now just a public art installation ?

The county employees have painted this sidewalk twice in the last year -- I thought as a precursor to repair No it appears to be becoming a public art project instead of public works ..-

Red light burned out

Road was just resurfaced and restriped. They forgot to make a break in the double yellow line do that traffic southbound on 137th can turn left and enter the elementary school.

Also, why didn’t they do this with the other project that is coming up to improve the intersection and extend sidewalks? Would have made more sense to only have one disruption.

This morning there are two vans of county workers to replace a stop sign pole with a bigger one. Why? This intersection is now overdue for a construction project that will remove that now new pole and put in a much needed light. Why is this money being wasted? When does the construction begin??

I’m sure the church carnival has the proper permit but I don’t think they are allowed to partially block the sidewalk close to the crossing with ride equipment. How late are they permitted to operate? Last night 10/29 they were making noise well past midnight putting their rides and equipment together.

Need to spray all athletic fields, drainage areas, bathrooms

Unsafe work zone --- no cones or other traffic control methods employ to protect workers who are on the side and on the roadway. This is my second report about these folks (last time I called code enforcement).

Property is abandoned and unkept. Grass, mosquitoes, critters, downed trees from last year's storm.

Looks like a traffic light is missing or backwards over left (not turn) lane.

School zone sign missing, eastbound 62nd Ave

I just reviewed the recommended alternative prepared by Volkert for the Seminole High School Intersection Improvement project. I see that the recommended alternative does not currently include extending the sidewalk on the east side of 131st Street from 93rd Avenue north to the intersection of 102nd. My neighborhood is Linden Estates, where the sidewalk resumes again just south of the designated signalized crosswalk. One half of our drive intersects with the sidewalk. The entrance to our subdivision has been designated by PCSB as a middle school bus stop, yet there is no sidewalk or landing pad in the area where the kids are to wait. My son attends Seminole Middle School and must travel in opposite directions twice on his route to get to the school safely. Connecting the sidewalk all the way through would eliminate some of the congestion at the 86th Ave crosswalk when school lets out and several hundred students rush the intersection. The school currently has a protected sidewalk existing the north side of the school on the east side of 131st Street but students can only travel as far as 93rd Ave safely, and many choose to (unsafely) cross the road at this point. On Friday 8/18 my son was witness to a serious injury accident involving a high school driver and a motorcyclist right in front of the fire station, just north of the school. He does not feel safe and no longer wants to walk or bike to school so I will now be adding to the traffic congestion in this area. Students and parents are also being advised to utilize the parking lot across the street at Seminole High School as a designated pick up area. I have not witnessed this myself yet but I believe many students are not utilizing the crosswalk at the corner to get to the parking lot.

Someone dumped a refrigerator at the east side of the road. Standing upright and could fall over into traffic lane.

Lots of parents disobeying traffic sign which clearly says do not stop or park and release student for school. I see at least two or three of the same people everyday. Send a traffic cop please.
