Illegal camping -- These homeless men have been here for months. They are illegally camping in the Caltrans easement underneath the 580 East on ramp across from the QuikStop. There are two tents against the wall and one against the column towards the intersection of Harrison and MacArthur. We have repeatedly called Caltrans and made official reports with absolutely no response. They are very loud and litter. This is a disturbance of the peace. They should be cited for disturbing the peace, public drunkenness, and possibly using drugs because that appears to be the case also. This is a residential area where a lot of families have kids sleeping at night. They shouldn't have to be woken up every night. This is illegal.
