    I have been living in my house since 2002 and every year it has been a struggle getting the city to come out and keep their property clean. It's important for others to do so but the city doesn't have to abide by the same rules I am assuming. I have made several calls this year but yet the property has yet to be cut. I have to pay someone out of my pocket to cut it back so that the kids are safe playing out here. We have seen both rats and snakes coming from this over grown lot. I have been told previously that the lot was placed on some type of schedule to be cut when other lots nearby are cut. The lot has been surveyed several times but still not cut. I don't know what else to do. I don't think it's fair that the city doesn't keep up their property but will fine the citizens for not doing so.

    There is a vacant lot owned by The City of Macon over grown with grass/shrubs and now trash. I have called Code Enforcement several times this summer and was even told an inspector had been sent out and the property would be cleaned. Well it has yet to be cleaned off and it is an eye sore here in our neighborhood. I believe the address of the vacant lot is 4340 Thrasher Circle. Thanks!
