    3 abandoned carts from shops in South Shore center. although this is not abandoned garbageper see, it becomes garbage b/c they get left, because the carts are locked.

    We have so many abandoned shopping carts in Bronze Coast, near south shore center, it's a real problem. These carts look crappy and they block sidewalk passage. We need a special category here on SCF for this issue. But until that happens, 'dumping' is the most applicable. This particular cart has been on our corner- at Walnut & Clinton- for a full week, if not more. Safeway, and all the S.S. stores with this issue (TJ Max, Traders...) should have a weekly pickup patrol and corral their wayward carts (or figure out why some of them don't lockup like they are supposed to). This should not have to fall on The City of Alameda!!!!
