Between the Neuse River Greenway trail and the river there is about 200 feet of barbed wire fencing. This fencing is left over from Malincrokdt company before the Greeenway was built. It is a definite danger to anyone who stops to look at the river and walks towards the river. It serves no current purpose. It needs to be removed before someone gets seriously hurt.

The Abbotts Creek Greenway construction barriers have not removed sense the project was finished 2-1/2 years ago. The 3 foot high rusting steel stakes that held up the black plastic barriers are still standing. They are close to the Greenway and are dangerous to hikers, bikers and runners. Plus it is just plain ugly. I first reported this 3 months ago and did receive a response until today when the "moderators" deleted it. Hopefully this will improve.
