Some resident of 266 Edgewood Avenue is regularly chaining a dog in the cakyard. My understanding is that this is illegal, not to mention inhumane.

Some nitwit pulled a parking sign out of its base on Platt Street next to Troup School. It's lying on the sidewalk there.

Red Nissan Terra CT Plate:171-TAY has a faulty car alarm that sounds every half hour or so. It's parked on Edgewood between Sherman and Beers every day. Todat (6/8) it happens to be in front of 266 Edgewood.

Highly suspicious activity at 20 Platt Street noted by this watcher and other neighbors. Observed money changing hands at 11:00 AM on May 19. Front steps are usually occupied by a group of African American males between 3:00 and 5:00PM daily. Deals are done away from the street along the left side of the house.

Prostitutes regularly active at Platt & Edgewood between 4:00 and 5:00 AM

Abandoned black Nissan sedan, no plates, flat tires on left side of Elm Street across from 611 Elm.

Playground behind Troup School has two city trash containers which are not being emptied by Parks or Sanitation personnel. At least one of these containers should be moved outside the playground to the street corner where it previously resided. A third such trash container is located in the field adjoining the playground. It too should be restored to its previous location on the corner of Beers and Elm.

Sidewalks surrounding Troup School are not sanded or salted. Extremely hazardous ongoing problem.
