Went to drop off used motor oil at town garage today. There should have been one line for shredding and another line for oil. Long wait in one long line and all but one were for shredding.

In a recent article in the JI newspaper it stated that yard waste would be picked up on Saturday of Veterans Day weekend among others. What happened ? Was this fake news? There are a lot of full brown barrels on my street.

On Thursday May 18 I received a phone message from Enfield Board of Education stating that the road would be closed for 2 - 3 hours due to an accident. What road? Is this about the accident on N. Maple St yesterday Wednesday May 17? Too late, I saw it in the JI.
