500–504 11th St Ne Washington 20002, United States - Capitol Hill
The large “L” shaped pavement cutout that I circled in red in picture. It’s where the 500 block of 11th Street NE meets Maryland Ave NE. When the big trucks drive over it (which is constantly not obeying the No Thru Trucks sign) the sound is deafening loud and the vibrations are causing damage to houses.

Need consistent enforcement of the no parking times during rush hour on the 2nd Street SW blocks between Washington Ave SW / 395 on-ramp. Several times a week there are parked cars blocking the travel lane adjacent to the HHS HQ during rush hour. Traffic needs to merge to one lane to get around the parked cars and back ups occur back onto Washington Ave SW. Part of the issue is the confusing array of parking signs that list what times are actually permitted to park there. However, there needs to be better enforcement to include daily towing of cars that are blocking travel lanes on this busy corridor. The attached pix shows 5 parked cars at 5:30pm on a work rush hour day -- all too typical on 2nd St SW.

1101 Maryland Ave Ne Washington, DC 20002, USA - Capitol Hill
The large tree at the corner, in front of 1101 Maryland Ave NE, has two limbs that have broken off and are caught up among the tree branches. Both dead limbs are 6-8' long. If they fall to the sidewalk when a person is underneath (god forbid if one of the many children who pass by here) there could be very unfortunate bodily injury to the passerby. This tree drops limbs of all sizes constantly as it has aged, but the two current dead limbs need immediate attention for public safety reasons.

With the opening of the 11th Street SE / 695 intersection there has been a HUGE increase in heavy truck traffic coming down 11th Street. This pothole has grown quickly as the truck travel over it and the trucks make a very loud noise as they hit the pothole. The increased truck traffic is a separate alarming issue but this pothole is an item that should be remedied quickly.
  • 502 11th St Ne Washington, DC 20002, USA - Capitol Hill
Streetlight on the west side of 500 block of 11th Street NE is out and has been out for several months despite reporting it via 311 twice before. The nearest house address to light is 502 11th St NE. This streetlight is the ONLY one on this side of the street and leaves a very dark expanse of sidewalk / road in its vicinity. Unsafe for pedestrians, invites parked car crime, etc.

  • 300-348 Constitution Ave Nw Washington, DC 20001, USA - US Congressional District DC98
The three eastbound lanes of Constitution Ave in the block in front of the federal courthouse do not have any white lines delineating the separate eastbound driving lanes. In addition, and adding to the unsafe driving conditions, it is at a curved section of the road and drivers veer all over the place. Even more dangerous in rainy weather!
