64 is not big enough to handle 1/2 the traffic. It needs 4-6 lanes, in both directions, from Williamsburg to Virginia Beach. It is especially bad right here, where some genius thought narrowing 64W from 4 lanes to 2 was a brilliant idea. Unfortunately, this is not even the worst part of this crappy road. 64 is a narrow, dangerous, poorly maintained, overused, traffic ticket inducing, stress inflicting hellhole.
I move to officially change the name of our geographic area:
Lack of Hampton Roads.
