  • Anthony Street Albany, New York - Albany
The nearest disabled parking is 300-500 feet from Pool/Playground/Picnic areas. At top of hill is a suitable area for additional disabled parking and access aisles which would serve areas and connect to paved pathways. Minimal expense to comply with Federal laws on disabled access to city playgrounds and recreation areas.
  • Anthony Street Albany, New York - Upper Washington Avenue
Western Hills Park east parking lot - Missing signs for Disabled Parking including: ground markings for disabled parking spot and access aisle, 'No Parking' sign for Access Aisle, and Van Accessble sign.
  • Westland Hills Park Albany, New York - Albany
Westland Hills Park, west entrance, has only one disabled parking spot sign; but no pavement marking, access aisle, or 'no parking' signs. Parking area holds nearly 100 cars and so 3-4 parking spots are required, along with access aisles and proper signage.
  • 39 Berkshire Boulevard Albany, New York - Buckingham Lake-Crestwood
Buckingham Pond - The parking lot for Buckingham Pond does not have disabled accessible parking sign and access aisle marked; van accessible sign should be included on post.

Parking lot adjacent to Fire Department Headquarters has a parking space marked on pavement for handicap parking but no above ground signs. Appears from picture that vehicles illegally parked in handicap space and adjoining access aisle.
  • 1200 Western Ave. Albany, New York - Campus Area-University District
New construction at site has blocked sidewalk on south side of Western Ave. Permit to block sidewalk is not posted. One permit for remodeling and exterior renovation is visible but it is apparent that new construction is occurring with new foundation footings, walls and roof. Additionally there will be new electrical, plumbing, heating, and insulation required. See photos.

Albany Water Department - The designated handicap parking spots are missing signs and spaces need to be re-painted. Signs and markings should comply with state code.
