Potholes Archived8-12 Parker Rd Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - FraminghamThere is a small, but deep pothole right next to the stop sign on Parker Rd eastbound where it meets Gates. It is right where the right tires would normally go.

Potholes Archived65-79 Salem End Rd Town of Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - FraminghamThe westbound side of Salem End road from the railroad tracks almost to Winter Street is in terrible shape. It needs repair!

Potholes Archived493-553 Salem End Rd Town of Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - FraminghamThere is a rectangular section of roadway about 3x4' which is significantly lower than the rest of the road. (It looks like a patch from some utility work.) It's on Salem End Road, eastbound, at the outside edge of the road, extending well into the travel lane. It is stone wall there, so there's no obvious address, but it's between the intersection of Salem End Rd with Gates/Badger and with Grizboska Cir.

Potholes Archived115 Parker Road Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - FraminghamA smaller hole was patched earlier this year, but not very well and the heavy rains ripped the patch away and dug it deeper. The deepest part is close to 3", but the loose gravel goes down further.

Traffic Signals ArchivedEdgell Rd & High St Town of Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - FraminghamGoing north on Union at High street some of the lights on the left cluster of traffic lights are out and, at times, there are no lights lit. (The only light I can recall seeing list through the cycle was the left green arrow.) I first noticed this about a week ago.

Potholes Archived10 Badger Rd Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - FraminghamThis is a sinkhole which was created by one of the contractors for a big project on Salem End Road a few years back. I've reported it before, the city has filled it in and it continues to slowly sink. It's again sunk to a depth that produces a pretty big shock for cars going northbound on Badger. It is on the right edge of the northbound lane just north of the driveway.

Pothole Archived2-54 Badger Rd Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - Framingham
Just outside the entrance to the Macomber Farms conservation area parking, to the north of the entrance on the east side of Badger road there is a sinkhole which is now around 3 inches deep and which produces quite a thump as you drive north on Badger.
The hole is in the same place where I reported a deeper hole some months back. That hole was left from work related to the Salem End Road water work last summer. Apparently the contractor didn't fill his hole in properly. When I first reported it, it was promptly fixed, but since has been slowly settling further.

18 Badger Road Framingham Massachusetts - Framingham
There was some work done (apparently as part of the water main replacement on Salem End Road) which resulted in a hole in Badger Road on the east edge just north of the entrance to the Macomber Estate parking lot. The hole was filled in and covered with asphalt, but has now sunk 2-3 inches and makes quite a jolt as you drive over it. Can it be fixed?
Addendum, late November: The patch worked beautifully for a while, but has been slowly sinking and is now about two inches deep. It's not yet a major hazard, but it's risen to the level of "annoying". Can we get a re-visit?

Street/Sidewalk Repair Archived49 Salem End Road Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamThe railroad crossing on Salem End Road/High Street just wesy of Maynard Rd is very rough, as is the road itself for perhaps fifty years to the west of the railroad crossing.

Parks/Playgrounds Archived23 Hickory Hill Lane Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamRight by the bridge near the rhododendrons at the back of the walking trails on Macomber Estates, there are two trees down blocking the path. One can be stepped over, the other is too high to easily get over and too low to easily get under!

Streetlights Archived41-45 Parker Road Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamThe light's attachment to the pole seems to have been broken during one of the n'oreasters. It no longer points down, but points east along Parker road and the glare is much worse than usual..

Storm Drainage Issues Archived515-569 Salem End Road Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamPoor drainage causes there to be a large puddle on the south side of Salem end Rd maybe 50 feet west of its intersection with Still Meadow Way whenever there's a rain or a lot of snow melting.
-
Tree down blocking path Archived18 Badger Road Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamThere is a large tree down on the path into the Macomber Estate walking area off Badger Rd. The paved path from the parking lot makes a right turn into the woods and ceases to be paved. About 3/4 of the way from the paved area and before the path forks si where the tree is down. It's been down for a couple of weeks and people have started to create a path around it, but it's still a challenge.

Street/Sidewalk Repair Archived296-314 Salem End Road Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamYou've done a great job of repairing almost all of Salem End Rd, but the bridge over the reservoir is still a mess. Is there any chance this can be fixed before winter?

Gates Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
There are 3 detour signs which have been up for around 8 years which should be taken down. The are Gates street going west near the intersection with Parker Rd, the intersection with Country Club Lane and where CC Lane ends at Rt 9.
There used to be more of them -- I believe they were put up about 8 years ago and were connected with some work on Rt 9 (but I'm not sure of that last). There were once several more, but over the years they have disappeared one-by-one. I suggest it's time to take the rest down.
-
Pothole Archived335 Salem End Rd Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamThere is a section of road covering both lanes which is *very* rough. It's annoying to drive over, but more to the point it's going to be torn up pretty badly by this winter's plowing.

Water or Sewer Issue ArchivedWest Intersection Of Gryzbosca Circile With Sales End Rd Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamOn the eastbound side of Salem End Rd (the south side of the road) there is a manhole right at the western intersection of Gryzboska Circle and Salem End Rd. It has slowly sunk a couple of inches to the point where driving over it produces a severe jar, similar to a pothole's. (There's also a second manhole nearby which is almost as bad. This one is midway between the two intersections of Gryzboska Circle with Salem End Road, also on the eastbound side of Salem End Rd.)
