For pedestrians heading west on Dowling, the Don't Walk counter on the south side of the intersection works properly. The one on the north side of the intersection starts about 20 seconds higher than the south side, then when the south side reaches 0, the north side skips straight to solid Don't Walk, accompanied by a yellow traffic light.

  • 2638-2798 Glenwood Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota - Harrison
Someone dumped a sofa in the middle of Glenwood Ave, blocking a significant portion of traffic, including the bike lane.
  • 1307 Glenwood Avenue Minneapolis Minnesota - Harrison
There are multiple bus stops in the bike lane along Glenwood Ave that are deteriorating, and have been very poorly patched, making things even worse. There are giant seams all along this stretch forcing cyclists without a mountain bike to use the traffic lane, which motorists do not appreciate.
  • 2-46 North 2nd Street Minneapolis, Minnesota - North Loop
The signal on the "northwest" corner of the intersection (actually to the north of the intersection) is pointed towards the crosswalk to cross Hennepin rather than towards the traffic on Hennepin.
  • 2600 Dowling Ave N Minneapolis, MN - Victory
Has been parked in same place over a week, and has flat tire.
  • 710 South 2nd Street Minneapolis, Minnesota - Downtown East
This is an ongoing issue. People are stopping and parking in the bike lane here constantly, despite there being legal parking spaces, and the law being no stopping, standing, or parking in a bike lane. This morning I tried to flag down a traffic control vehicle that just sped on by, ignoring the blatant violation right in front of him.
  • 312 North Washington Ave Minneapolis, Minnesota - North Loop
Copying from Additional issue details because I'm not sure which one 311 actually sees: This is an ongoing issue. Originally, there was one semi trailer encroaching on the bike lane. There are now two semi trailers, a dumpster, and a lift. There is construction at this address, and they are abusing their construction permit to obstruct traffic. I talked to Jim Glenn(sp?) at the city, who looked into this location, and he informed me that they have no permit for lane closure, which is required to obstruct traffic on an ongoing basis. He instructed me to contact 311 for enforcement. I have reported this repeatedly, and have had nothing happen about the issue itself, which is that they are obstructing traffic right by a busy intersection. Citations have supposedly been issued, but it hasn't resolved the violations. This is especially bad every time it snows, as the lane obstruction moves a foot or two farther out because snow is piled next to the objects there.
  • 312 North Washington Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota - North Loop
This trailer has been parked here for months, and is now preventing snow removal. The trailer obviously did not move during the recent snow emergency, and the plows had to go around, leaving a pile of snow in the bike lane rather than the side of the road. Either the trailer needs to move and the area needs to be replowed, or someone needs to go out and manually deal with the snow around it.
  • 701 North Lowry Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota - Hawthorne
The issue is along the entire length of Lowry, but I have a decent picture at Aldrich. The bike lane is entirely impassible, and yes, those are traffic lanes, and are on the road side of the curb. It would be nice if the city would start caring about these bike lanes that they like to tout.
  • 2818 North Dowling Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota - Victory
Parked in No Parking Zone and Bike Lane, clearly marked
  • 2700 North 2nd Street Minneapolis, Minnesota - Hawthorne
Parked in bike lane, signed as no parking
