  • 2745-2795 Pearl Harbor Rd Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
There is a nonoperational vehicle on Pearl Harbor Road near the intersection with Orion. It appears to belong to an APC resident, but since the vehicle is on a public street, APC can not tow. The vehicle has been under "repair" for several months, but now parts are being scattered around the car in the road way and have become a hazard to people driving there, as well as a substantial blight.
  • 2591-2799 Orion St Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
The residents of APC request that Orion Street, at least the portion between Midway and Pearl HArbor be designated a slow street as a traffic calming strategy, along with installing temporary speed bumps. There has been almost daily racing of vehicles down that street, I have personally been run off the road by speeders, and there are numerous children playing in the area that are at risk.
  • 325 W Midway Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
The residents of Alameda Point Collaborative are requesting that temporary speed bumps be installed on W. Midway Ave. to slow down traffic. During the pandemic this road has become a favorite raceway and there have multiple instances of cars speeding down the street almost hitting children. SLowing this street down will also encourage off site traffic from using this as a major thoroughfare and will instead divert traffic away from residential streets to RAMP or Main Street.
