The electronic 'your speed' signs adjacent the school speed zone along Sportsman's Club Rd need to be adjusted to accurately reflect the fact that the schools are not in session and that the speed is not currently 20mph there Many drivers do not realize that the signs are telling them, erroneously, to 'slow down'

9336 Ne Business Park Ln Bainbridge Island WA 98110, United States - Bainbridge Island

I previously reported this but it was dismissed as not being a public road
The pothole in question is on NE Business Park Ln, which intersects Soortsmans Club Road, not the Coopertop private parking area The road sign doesn't label this as a public road
Please repair this growing hazard or state specifically (by name) that this roadway is indeed not publicly maintained

    Thank you

The gravel parking area for Rockaway Park has settled to the point where the road pavement is much higher than the parking area gravel. Cars with low clearance are at risk of bottoming out on the “curb” created by jump from the roadway asphalt to the graveled area.

  • Sportsmans Club Road Bainbridge Island, WA - Bainbridge Island

Location: Sportsman's Club road, opposite Woodward and Sakai schools and adjacent Northtown Woods, Bainbridge Self Storage, and the Cooper Top commercial area.
I'm concerned about the continued escalating public use of the buffer/utility easement on the east side of Sportsman's club road between New Brooklyn road and the electrical sub-station.
Since the project to bury the electrical utilities along this roadway the buffer has come under increasing use.
It is more and more frequently used as annex parking for school events and a parking area for day to day pick ups and drop offs. It is also being used more and more frequently as parking for community for profit and nonprofit activities.
Additionally the storage business uses it as staging area for cargo transfer between tractor trailers and moving vans, and often to park their logo laden vehicles as advertisement.
Most recently the company constructing the addition to the Copper Top development is (actively) staging construction materials and debris among the buffering trees and shrubs. This week adding piles of gravel along the roadway, to be used (presumably) as either staging for the job, or to spread to build the roadside and buffer into even more of a parking area.
Please look into the situation along this stretch of road and address any improper use of buffer, inappropriate uses of utility easements, and illegal development of parking areas.

    Thank You.
