Sidewalks in front of 18 Thompson St and house on corner of Thompson and Dixwell Ave have not been cleared for the 2nd storm this season. Both houses are QU student rentals.

I put out about a dozen bags of leaves on 11/26 for the November pick up and they have not been picked up yet. Please advise. Thanks you.

There is a large pot hole on side of road as you are almost cresting 4 Rod Rd coming from Paradise. It could easily cause an accident for a cyclist. It has been there for several months.

The sidewalk that was replaced about 10 years ago is lifting because of the tree the town planted. There is a 2-3" lip on the walking surface which is a tripping hazard.

My complaint is both a blight and safety concern. The house is clearly abandoned and is showing advanced signs of neglect to the main structure and the out building. There is a tree branch sticking out of the roof that faces Dixwell Ave. Even more concerning is the tree that dropped that branch. It is large, old tree that is clearly diseased and dropping tree limbs all over the place, which includes onto the Dixwell Ave sidewalk below. This sidewalk is the only route from our neighborhood that leads the Middle School crossing guard to get our kids across the street. This needs to be addresses ASAP before someone gets hurt! Also, if this a bank owned home, they need to do something with the house to make it took better and fix the hole in the roof!

Several houses at the top of Thompson St. are falling into disrepair, most just needing a good coat of paint and some yard work. The house at the top of the street has a fence that is falling to pieces and has boards with nails sticking out into the sidewalk. Lastly, one neighborhood is selling junk on Dixwell Ave. almost every day calling it a "moving sale", I would call this an illegal business.
Let's all work together to keep our beautiful older homes looking good and preserve our great little neighborhood!
